CQQ owns quilt racks that have been refurbished to exhibit 72 quilts. They are available to Quebec guilds. Protocol for reservations of quilt racks is subject to change without notice. To reserve the quilt racks please read the protocol carefully and complete the RACKS-FORM.
Quilt Racks Reservation Protocol
Fee
The fee for the rental of the quilt racks is $25 – for those guilds only where 50% of their members are also members of CQQ. Guilds not meeting this criterion must pay an additional non-refundable fee of $25 per missing person.
For example: if the guild is 5 persons short of the required 50%, there will be an additional charge of $125 (5 x $25) added to the basic fee of $25 for a total of $150. In this case, we suggest increasing the number of CQQ members.
Racks pick-up and return
The guild renting the racks is solely responsible for the pick-up and return of the racks, which must be done promptly. Racks must be returned in the same condition as when they were rented.
Transport of the racks
The quilt racks are stored at 2000 Notre Dame East (near Jacques Cartier Bridge).
