In 2004 Courtepointe Québec Quilts organized the first Salon Quilt Show of the province of Quebec. The Salon gathers hundreds of pieces lovingly sewed by Quebec quilters, so the public may discover or rediscover the talent of our quilters and the richness of this beautiful art transmitted from generation to generation.
In addition to the quilt show, there are workshops, merchants, and a boutique where people may purchase exquisite quilted items.
The Salon is an event that only takes place every two years.
The next Salon will be held 24 to 27 of May 2012.
